Follow these steps to access Pro Online.
- Navigate to https://vita.taxslayerpro.com/ProAvalon/
- Enter the username and password for your Pro Online account and then select "Login". If you have forgotten the username for your Pro Online account then select "Forgot Username". Error: "The current account is disabled and cannot log into this system. Please contact support to re-enable this account."
Explanation: This error will occur while attempting to login with an account that has been disabled.
Resolution: If you are the site administrator for this site then reach out to our support team for assistance with reactivating your account via our email support@vita.taxslayerpro.com. If you are not the site administrator for this site then reach out to your site administrator for assistance with reactivating your account.
Error: "The username is currently inactive for this location, please verify your username and try again."
Explanation: You could encounter this error in a couple of scenarios. Below, I've explained each of these scenarios and your next steps.
Scenario 1
Explanation: You are attempting to login using the credentials for a Practice Lab account instead of a Pro Online account.
Resolution: Check that the credentials that you entered are correct. You will need to login with your Pro Online account username.
Scenario 2
Explanation: The site that your account was created under is marked as inactive.
Next Steps: If you are the site administrator then refer to the following article on inactive sites for assistance. If you are not the site administrator then reach out to your site administrator for assistance.
Error: "Account was locked on XX/XX/XXX XX:XX XX due to too many invalid login attempts. Please verify your account by choosing a delivery option below and inputting the code you receive."
Explanation: This error will occur after too many invalid login attempts.
Resolution: Support staff are unable to unlock an account in this situation. It will require following the instructions that appear in order to unlock your account and reset your password.
