This article is meant for site administrators that need to download the Desktop/Contingency Software. If you are a site administrator that needs to regain access to your My Account/Account Hub in order to download the Desktop/Contingency Software then follow these steps to reset your password.
- Navigate to https://vita.taxslayerpro.com/accounthub
- Select "Forgot Password".
- Enter the username for your My Account/Account Hub.
- Select "Send Email" or "Send Text".
- Check your e-mail or phone for the code. Once you have received the code, enter the code into the field titled "Authentication Code" and select "Verify".
You will need to enter the code without closing this page. If this page is closed then the process of resetting your password will need to be started again. You can minimize this window and open up a new one or simply open a new tab to access your e-mail. The email is titled "Web Efiling: Account Hub: Login Code". If the e-mail is not in your inbox then ensure that it was not redirected to your spam/junk folder. If this occurs then we recommend adding "Taxslayerpro.com" to your Safe Senders List in order to prevent this from occurring in the future.
- Change your password.
